How Timertag has changed
2013–2023
Hardware foundations
Battery-powered micro-timers with LED displays. The range won international design awards and was evaluated in independent studies, but the hardware brought supply chain risks that were hard to manage.
2024–2026
The digital label
We retired the hardware and moved to QR-coded labels and hosted pages, making deployment easier and cutting costs across the supply chain.
October 2026
EHR-ready
After listening to clinicians at AVA 2026 in Dallas (the Association for Vascular Access annual meeting), every label became QR-only, one label per device type, with a GS1 DataMatrix for EHR entry.
